Darius Ajai Frasure, EdD, MFA, is a poet, spoken-word artist, educator, and publisher based in the Dallas, Texas, area.

He is the author of the poetry collections stained glass medusa and of stone and rope and creator of the spoken word album Spoken Pieces. His writing explores identity, memory, culture, faith, relationships, masculinity, history, and the complicated narratives through which people understand themselves and one another.

Frasure's literary work emerges from the same curiosity that shapes his work as an educator and coach: an interest in language, meaning, identity, and what becomes possible when people encounter their experiences from another perspective.

His work has appeared in literary journals and arts programming, and he has shared poetry with audiences through readings, spoken-word performances, literary events, educational programs, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
